6. It's Been 10 Years Since The First One Night Stand
June 12, 2005. Hammerstein Ballroom, New York City. Wrestling gold. Rob Van Dam initially went to Vince McMahon with the idea of holding an ECW reunion before Tommy Dreamer and Paul Heyman pulled the necessary strings to get the stellar cast together. A number of show stealing matches and an unbelievable crowd made the event a truly memorable one and just showed ECW in a great light. On top of that, the whole RAW and SmackDown invasion angle was executed to a tee and even took us behind the curtain on more than one occasion. Paul Heyman's promo half way through the event is a must see. To anyone who hasn't seen the event yet, it's worth the 9.99 it costs to get the WWE Network for a month alone. So what better way to commemorate the 10th Anniversary of the inaugural One Night Stand than to give ECW its own game mode in WWE 2K16.
