9. Mokujin

The forest-dwelling move-snatcher himself, everyone remembers discovering the delights of Mokujin in Tekken 3, or his platinum-covered alter-ego, Tetsujin, in Tekken Tag.

Essentially inspired by the amount of different martial art styles a training dummy will be subjected to, playing as Mokujin would randomly give you another character's moves entirely. Brilliantly, this meant entering into any of the endless modes essentially opened up the entire roster, challenging your skills with an entire game's worth of characters, rather than just who you picked.

A great method of training and learning how to master any given instalment's characters, Mokujin (or anything like him) is a big miss.
