7. Julia/Michelle Chang

Replacing her mother Michelle in Tekken 3, Julia quickly became a fan favourite thanks to some easily memorable ground attacks and slides that quickly covered large swathes of the battlefield.

Namco actually played with the idea of killing Julia off in Tekken 6, showing her losing grip on a cliffside handhold, only to regain composure and cling on as her Arcade ending faded out.

Just through sheer visuals alone, Julia/Michelle just feels like an essential inclusion to any Tekken roster. Bring in either of their iconic movesets and environmentally-charged, "Save the planet!" story backing, and you have a great character we'd all love to control.
