Tekken 7: 10 Beloved Characters Namco Totally Left Out

3. Jun Kazama

Devil Kazumi feels like a poor analogue to the iconic Jun Kazama, Kazuya's wife and mother of Jin who's remained relatively mysterious throughout the series.

Long thought to be the focus of some eventual major plot reveal, instead Namco pivoted and introduced Kazuya's mother instead, the story going off in a completely different direction. To that end, we still don't know exactly what killed Jun after the events of Tekken 2, as Jin would embark on a path to discover his heritage and do battle with Heihachi.

As a fighter she employed a neat series of constantly-rotating punches alongside some low attack-hopping cartwheels, perfect for snatching victory from the jaws of defeat. Last seen in various characters' visions and in-game in Tekken Tag Tournament 2, more light shone onto Jun's position in the franchise would be most appreciated.
