Tekken 7: Ranking Every Character From Worst To Best

23. Miguel Caballero Rojo

Miguel has been one of the most well-received new characters of the last few instalments, rising thoroughly above the likes of Leo and Alisa in Tekken 6, only to be perfected in Tekken 7.

Partly down to his simple and effective Paul Phoenix-esque boxer-brawler style, Miguel's story is one of the most empathetical too. Framed in a similar vein to Inigo Montaya/Prince Oberyn's respective quests for revenge in The Princess Bride/Game of Thrones, Miguel is hunting down Jin Kazama for a bombing run that killed his wife.

His ending actually sees him spare Jin, but it only adds to the idea of this guy who's trained rigorously to use his fists for a certain purpose, only to be cast back into the world, searching only for the next fight. A truly awesome addition, and someone who if he'd debuted back in the original trilogy, would be up there with the other household names.
