Tekken 7: Ranking Every Character From Worst To Best
29. Ling Xiaoyu
Introduced in Tekken 3 and the favourite for a small portion of the Tekken audience, Xiaoyu has always had a solid mix of stance-switching surprise attacks.
Part of mastering her is employing this almost 'drunken master'-like approach to battles, waiting in various poses to unleash devastating attacks, before recoiling back into yet another pose, keeping your foe on the back foot.
Truly, it's a testament to how well Ling plays, that her godawful storyline doesn't detract from a place further down this list. Existing to devote herself to a non-caring Jin Kazama, his placement in the story means Xiaoyu spends Tekken 7 chasing after rumours and information.
If/when we finally get a turning point for her character that befits her lightning-quick fighting style, then she can be up there as one of the true greats.
