2. Star Wars
The biggest sci-fi film franchise on the planet, Star Wars has a long history of video games set within its universe, but imagine a strong narrative-focused title from Telltale. The possibilities are so good, it's a surprise it hasn't happened yet.
The setting could focus on the time of the original trilogy, or the new trilogy that began with The Force Awakens. The story could revolve around a small group of Rebels/Resistance operatives taking on The Empire/The First Order - in a story on a smaller scale, but with far-reaching consequences.
With Rogue One being released this year, and a new Star Wars movie every year from now until the end of time, Telltale would have plenty of opportunities to craft their Star Wars tale and execute it using their time-tested skills with storytelling.
