We don't need another hero! We don't need to know the way home! All we want is this vehicular combat/third-person open world game set based on the Mad Max film series!! The second game on this list set in the apocalypse, Mad Max places heavy emphasis on vehicular combat. Avalanche Studios has stated that up to 60% of the game's campaign requires the player to drive. The other 40% will presumably be spent spraying chrome paint into your mouth to enter Valhalla. Max's vehicle the Magnum Opus will be upgradable with a variety of weapons, including flamethrowers, a mounted cannon, and Nitro Boost. Mad Max will also feature a slow-motion mode while aiming and driving similar to the Dead Eye Targeting in Red Dead Redemption. Players will collect resources such as food, water, and jerrycans of fuel, which are vital for Maxs survival in the game. Max also has the option to venture into "The Big Nothing", an uncharted wasteland where he can risk oblivion to find rare parts for his car.
