The Best PS4 FPS Is One You'll Probably Never Play

1. The Future Is Bright

Of course, the ambitious title isn't perfect. Like so many VR games, Firewall feels like a foundation for something much larger. With only one real PVP mode and nine maps, the game is lacking in variety, made slightly worse by how quickly matches end.

Likewise, despite there being a wealth of weapons, attachments and characters to unlock, it can be quite the grind to get your hands on decent loot, especially during the early levels of your first custom loadouts.

Consequently, right now it's probably not worth the huge investment to pick up a PSVR just for this shooter, but if the devs manage to build on this service and introduce more maps and modes (not dissimilar to the way Ubisoft transformed Siege), then it may just become the first real killer app for Sony's add-on, and one of the best shooters of the whole generation.
