It might sound obvious, but for the love of God, unless you've got a death wish, you're going to want to find a decent team to stick around with in the DZ, be it three buddies or just a group of skilled randoms. Going lone wolf in the DZ is pretty much discouraged for all but the strongest players by the high difficulty level of combat, not to mention the fact that the benefits of a team speak for themselves, namely the ability to revive you, get your back during extractions and talk strategy via comms. If you want to survive long, this is the way to do it.
