The Elder Scrolls: 10 Best Storylines That Should Be Turned Into Movies

7. Paarthunax's Past - Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim

It's rare to find an individual in the world of the Elder Scrolls who is both an advocate for peace and for knowledge, but the grand old dragon Paarthunax is exactly that. This wise and peaceful dragon is the head of the Greybeards by the time players start up Skyrim, living atop the Throat of the World and meditating on the ways of the voice.

Paarthunax is constantly the guiding voice for the Dragonborn on his journey to defeating Alduin, informing the player of the powers of the voice and the history of the Dragon Cult.

Dragons in Skyrim are immortal and Paarthunax has lived longer than most, giving him arguably the biggest backstory of any character in the entire Elder Scrolls collection.

Before his time with the Greybeards, Paarthunax was actually Alduin's highest lieutenant and was supposedly one of the cruelest dragons to rule over men. He was then visited by Kyne, one of the Old Golds, who asked him to teach men the power of the voice so that they might rise up against his fellow dragons.

With a past that the likes of Delphine are still resentful over, it would be great to see the ins and outs of the background behind this iconic character.
