The Elder Scrolls: 10 Best Storylines That Should Be Turned Into Movies

3. The Dark Brotherhood - Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim

Arguably the most hard-hitting of any questline in Skyrim, the story of the Dark Brotherhood in the Elder Scrolls 5 kicks off with rumours of a troubled child trying to summon the group of assassins in Windhelm. Players contact Aventus Aretino, kill the wicked Grelod the Kind, and are kidnapped by Astrid, the Dark Brotherhood's leader - who introduces them to a new life of killing for hire.

Skyrim's Dark Brotherhood boast a collection of characters unlike any other group or guild in the game, with their close-knit relationships and colourful personalities helping them stand out and leave an impression. The sanctuary in Falkreath they call home is dark and gloomy, and the questline is long and dramatic. It also contains great characters such as Cicero, the Night Mother and Commander Maro, who all pop up to throw additional spanners into the world of killers for hire.

With the storyline eventually culminating in an ambitious plot to kill the Emperor himself and ending in some seriously dramatic circumstances, there's only one problem with the idea of condensing all of the story into a film - and that's ensuring there's enough time for it all.
