The Elder Scrolls: 10 Best Storylines That Should Be Turned Into Movies
2. Ulfric, The Voice And Killing A King - Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
Imperial or Stormcloak, there's no denying that Ulfric Stormcloak is one of the most interesting and complex characters in Elder Scrolls history.
Born with a natural ability in understanding the ways of the voice, Ulfric was personally selected from an early age to enrol with the Greybeards. He spent ten years of his upbringing atop High Hrothgar, making him one of the few living characters actively able to shout like the Dragonborn. He then gave up his life as a Greybeard to help in the Great War against the Elves, eventually being captured by the Thalmor before being allowed to escape some time later.
As tensions continued to mount across Skyrim following the war and subsequent banning of Talos worship, Ulfric's stance towards the Empire became more and more radical. This eventually culminated in the fateful day he stormed up to the Blue Castle in Solitude, and murdered the High King, Torygg.
Arguably no one in Skyrim has more of their backstory laid out than Ulfric, fuelling the curiosity over what Ulfric and his actions might have looked like prior to his introduction alongside the Dragonborn at the start of the game.
