During the gameplay segment, we are treated to a glimpse of a new crafting menu. You may have noticed that exploding arrows are a thing, with Ellie not only crafting one, but shooting it directly at an enemy, making them quite literally blow into pieces.

But don't let this distract you from the other goodies the crafting menu is hiding.

If you pause the video and look at the other icons in the crafting menu, the icon that stands out the most is the pistol with a silencer. Yes - a silencer!

The first game had nothing of the sort, forcing the player to choke out or shank any enemy if they wanted to take them down quietly and take a stealthy approach. For any players who suck at stealth, this meant you only got the jump on one, maybe two enemies before you were thrust into a gunfight.

But something as simple as a silencer offers up so many new avenues for stealth. Whether we'll find or craft them, or if the silenced pistol will just be a weapon in itself is yet to be seen, but the mere fact that they are in this game is sure to get the stealth enthusiasts excited.
