The Last Of Us Part 2: 10 Biggest WTF Moments

The regular infected are creepy enough in the Last of Us 2, but Naughty Dog took it to a whole new level in the hospital section.

While playing as Abby, you need to traverse the lower halls of the unexplored hospital, in search of medicine. It’s a creepy environment to start with; the area is heavily quarantined, dimly lit, full of dead bodies and full of infected such as clickers.

Then you’ll hear a massive bang when you’re down there. You know something is coming, but when it does, there’s no bigger WTF moment in the entire game than seeing this creature for the first time.

A huge monster, which appears to be several infected merged together, emerges from the darkness. It’s like nothing you’ve ever seen before in The Last of Us, and before you know it, you’re running away down twisting corridors as this horrible thing stalks you and the game becomes full survival horror for the next few minutes.

What follows is a hugely tense boss battle against the monster, where you’ll be running away, throwing everything you’ve got at it to put it down. It even splits apart at one point, spawning another creature, just to make it a bit more disgusting.
