The Legend Of Zelda: 10 Worst Things Link Has Ever Done
4. Stabbing Ganondorf Right In The Head
Featured In: Wind Waker
The Legend of Zelda, and Nintendo in general, tend to hang back on over-exaggerated violence. Enemies are defeated and promptly disappear, there's not a speck of blood or guts in sight, and a few slashes of a sword can dispatch most foes.
But when Link comes across the Wind Waker's Ganondorf, politeness goes out the window.
After one of the most difficult fights in the entire game, the two mortal enemies slashing at each other, each fighting for his life and the fate of the entire kingdom, Link delivers the final killing blow that will liberate the land from Ganondorf's tyranny.
Except this isn't your usual little slash of the ankles, Link flips and jumps high above Ganondorf, and brings his sword down upon him, embedding it deep into his skull, right in the forehead.
The evil was defeated, sure, and the kingdom saved, but geez Link, did you really have to be quite so zealous?
