A very divisive element, Witcher 3's refinement of the previous game's combat sought to add a lot more animation into Geralt's movement, thereby giving him a lot more weight on the battlefield, whilst forcing you to pick and choose when to strike, and overall establish the very feel of this game as something different than the competition. When taken that way, it's hard to side with the complainers who forever dictate this laboured sense of battle is a hindrance, but regardless, let's see the return of Witcher 2's Arena mode - if only to experiment with the various systems on offer and perfect them. This previous implementation actually came from a patch after release in the first place, making the mode available from the home screen, but that factored more into how that game was designed (a string of open-styled areas, not a full world). With W3 it could be an actual arena you can visit multiple times, stock up on and craft items in the many stalls that would surely accompany it, and battle to the top over the course of a few gore-filled showdowns.
