The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt - 11 Easter Eggs, In-Jokes & References

9. Monty Python - Lines Of NPC Dialogue & Visual References

Ever since Monty Python turned their focus to the realm of fantasy with the timeless Life of Brian and Holy Grail movies, they've become over-referenced nerd-humour incarnate - the highlight of a particularly brilliant Simpsons episode to boot. As is standard in open world games with seemingly millions of lines of NPC dialogue, the creative team can drop in any reference they like knowing somewhere along the way it'll be discovered. Therefore, although there'll surely be more of these random lines added in the comments below as people get more familiar with the world presented here, some of the most off-kilter and enjoyable so far have been from the kings of comedy themselves. Taken from an intrepid Redditor's thread, they mention random thieves shouting "Your mother was a hamster and your father smelled of elderberries!" as they try to attack you, alongside other images appearing online of the epic battle between our Holy Grail-chasers and the horrifying Rabbit of Caerbannog seen above.
