These Video Game Remasters SUCK!

These Remasters SUCK
System 3

So my precious little summer fruits, you might be thinking to yourself "Putty Squad? Is this a sex move? Is this a sex move with the Putties from Power Rangers? Is this something I should be googling right now to see if it exists?"

*taps on keyboard*

*Stunned face*

Why does this even exist?!

Pornographic horrors aside, Putty Squad HD is a remaster of the sequel to the Amiga game "Putty" and hold on friends as your brain is about to become absolute putty as I explain the rather bizarre tale of how this remaster came out before the game it's based on did.

You see the sequel "Putty Squad" was set to drop around 1994-95 on Super Nintendo, MS-DOS, Amiga, and Mega Drive. Of all these versions only the Super Nintendo version made it to market despite other formats actually being fully completed and being sent out for review.

Doesn't sound too complex right? Well strangely in 2013, to celebrate its 30th birthday System 3 the developers released the AMIGA version of the game on their website. However, this HD remake of the game dropped BEFORE this meaning that the remaster appeared before the original title landed on the original console.

Madness right? Anyway, that story that I've just told you is literally the best thing about this game because playing this feels about as painful as zipping up one of your testicles in your trousers and the resulting swollen mess looks about as visually appealing.
