Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1+2 Remaster: 10 Things You Need To Know
1. Online Play & Create-A-Park
There's a beauty in choice.
If you want to play a game of 'Horse' with friends online, then have at it. Or, if you're more inclined to grab two controllers, sit on a couch with one of your friends and play local split-screen multiplayer, then that's available too. That all comes before one digs into the extended 'Create-A-Park' feature Vicarious Visions are so proud of.
They're boasting that this mode allows players to build their own playgrounds, share them online and download the creations of others. New park creation tools will be hidden in Career Mode as unlockables too, which sounds exciting, and there's even the chance to deform set pieces to shape them how you like.
Some sort of community hub was always going to be important. The original Tony Hawk's games were very much either single player or couch multiplayer experiences, but gaming has changed; it's not unreasonable for VV to add some new social aspects into these games, especially when it doesn't spoil their primary features.
