Another area that was highlighted in the interviews given alongside the launch of the trailer was confirmation that there will be secret locations within the game.

This could be new hidden areas within levels that already exist or bonus levels potentially from other games in the series.

While it seems unlikely completely new levels will be added, the idea of completing the game to then unlock further levels from the series would be a great incentive to try and 100% everything within the remaster.

Another possibility is we could see DLC added after the release of the game to keep players coming back for a prolonged period.

Any additional levels or secret areas will be welcome, but they are sure to be some in a series which always has plenty of bonus content.
