4. Sonic the Hedgehog 4 Episode 2 (New Entry)
Another lite version of a full game. Basically, like any other Sonic game but with the addition of Tails and new scenery. The speedy blue hedgehog in red boots returns to collect the coins and defeat the bad-guy that's turning all his forest pals into bullying badniks. With the help of his foxy friend Tails, you need to run jump and bash your way through the levels. You really can't beat classic games like this especially when they stuck with the winning formula we all know and love. However in the free version you are only allowed access to limited amount of levels - Sylvania Castle Zone Act 1 and Special Stage. The controls are sometimes easy to miss but after this taster you're certain to have got the hang of them, then it is down to you to decide whether you want to shell out £2.99 on the game to complete the story. Personally, I'd say it would be a damn good investment.
3. Ultimate Logo Quiz (New Entry)
Exactly what it says on the tin. Here we have a game where the aim is to guess the correct logo within the chosen category. Except in the free version, which we played, and in which you are limited to just the car logos. This could be a fun game if this is a subject you are remotely interested in, however, I'm not sure it is the best subject to entice people to unlock the other sections to appeal to a wider audience. After trying the sampler you have the choice of paying 69p for each additional category you can unlock which, after really trying to like it, we don't think is very good value money for what you get. Should this have been a completely free app it would have had a great review, unfortunately it isn't and we feel is try to take more than it's worth.
