Transformers: Fall of Cybertron - 5 Reasons To Be Excited

3. The Scale of the Environments

I know that many people will wonder why this on the list, but just hear me out. The sheer size of the environments within the game has grown dramatically and looks stunning. In the two missions playable in the demo it is clear just how big the game has grown since War for Cybertron. In the first mission of the demo, The Ark itself is a massive ship that houses hundreds of Autobots with guns the size of Grimlock and engines probably the size of Metroplex. With that being said, imagine how the background looks considering that the entire mission takes place in space. Also, during the second playable mission the scale of the game just seems to get bigger. With the Autobot Convey being €œmassive€ compared to anything we€™ve seen so far in the game. As Vortex, you speedily race towards it in order to set up an ambush. But, by the end of the demo you see just how big the convey actually is. When I played the demo for the first time it felt like I was a fly trying to stop a car. With giant backdrops of space and destroyed cities, FoC showcase just how much High Moon Studios has improved. With metals looking more metallic than ever and wrecked cities looking beautiful, your experience with FoC will be that much sweeter.
