Transformers: Fall of Cybertron Gets Release Date

Those of you itching for transforming mechanical mayhem, you're in luck. High Moon Studios revealed today in an exclusive trailer for Gamespot, that the game will be arriving on August 28 in the US. A UK launch date hasn't been confirmed, but guessing August 31 probably isn't too far off. In Fall of Cybertron, players will witness the Autobots and Decepticons continue their battle for control of their home planet. If you're wondering just how the Transformers came to travel to Earth, the game ends with a climatic battle that ultimately destroys their home planet sending them into space. High Moon Studios is taking extra care with the title in order ensure that fans of the series will be satisfied. Make sure to check out the Gamespot reveal trailer here. With the trailer highlighting the Dinobots, and even the Combaticons combining to form Bruticus. Substantial improvements have been made to the foundation set in place with Transformers: War for Cybertron. A few of the most substantial improvements are the vamped up enemy A.I, along with players being able to triple transform. Changing from infantry, to a jet, and to a helicopter. The newest title is set to recieve substantially larger environments for players to explore as well.
