Transformers Prime: The First Gameplay Trailer
The Gameplay looks as if it follows the Autobot's as they battle Megatron and the Decepticons for control of the scattered fragments of the meteor that have fallen to Earth.
This week saw the release of the first gameplay trailer for Activision's latest title to star the infamous Autobot's and Decepticons.
Transformers Prime is based on Hasbro's popular series of the same name and follows the usual cast of transforming robots including Optimus Prime, Bumblebee, Iron Hide and Megatron. There isn't a lot of information available regarding the plot of the game aside from the typical fight between the Autobot's and the Decepticons for control of an energon source but this time it's with a twist. The Energon source in this instalment of the transformer's story is a meteor full of dark energon, a peculiar substance that has the ability to create zombie transformers.

This also implies that the series' human companions to the Autobots, Jackson, Miko and Raphael, will be involved in someway. Possible playable characters look to be Optimus Prime, Ratchet, Bumblebee and Bulkhead. Activision is also due to publish the follow up to 2010's Transformers: War for Cybertron with Transformers: Fall of Cybertron in August. The Game is due to hit shelves later this year for Nintendo Wii, DS and 3DS.
