Uncharted 4: 10 Awesome Fan Theories You Need To Know
5. The Henry Every Connection
One of the first clues to the direction of the game will be taking is the bloody writing stating Every betrayed us written on the map, and that has produced one particularly solid fan theory. This particular insight suggests the sentence might be a link to the famous pirate Captain Henry Every. Every was an English pirate who operated in the Atlantic and Indian Oceans in the mid 17th century. Despite being in the pirating business for just two years, he was easily the most notorious pirate of his age. This was as a result of him reportedly retiring with his loot without being arrested or killed in battle. That success led him to being known as The Arch Pirate and even The King Of Pirates, although it has been suggested he simply died under an alias instead. Regardless, his most famous heist was that of The Grand Mughal, who he somehow managed to steal a huge fortune from despite the risks involved. He then went on to convince other infamous pirate captains that he would protect their loot, subsequently sailing off with their fortune for himself instead. Its reported that he docked in Reunion, an island next to Madagascar where the loot was shared among his crew. That means theres a large pirate bounty buried right where the fourth game is reported to be set; substantiating this theory even further.
