According to PWInsider, WWE Hall of Famer Booker T's lawsuit against Activision will officially get underway on April 19.

The trial will see Booker T taking on Activision Publishing, Inc., Activision Blizzard, Inc., and Major League Gaming Corp in court after the former World Heavyweight Champion filed a lawsuit in February 2019 claiming that Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 character David 'Prophet' Williams' look is largely based on a comic book iteration of his G.I. Bro persona. The former WCW star famously used this gimmick whilst performing in the wrestling company.

The star states that he owns the rights to the aforementioned character and he is accusing Activision of copyright infringement due to never actually being contacted about the character being used in the video game.

Elsewhere, another trial date has been set for tattooist Catherine Alexander's lawsuit against WWE and 2K Games. This trial, now set to go down on September 20, was brought to life after Alexander accused WWE and 2K Games of copyright infringement after using her original designs, seen in a number of Randy Orton's tattoos, despite never giving the companies permission to use them in WWE video games.

After being first filed in 2018, the case has been pushed back on numerous occasions.
