Watch Dogs: 10 Reasons The Haters Are Wrong

5. Hacking: What Were You Expecting?

Many have said that they thought the hacking was going to be more complicated based off the initial trailer that showed a circular inventory-wheel to which Aiden then selected to hack into a set of traffic lights or a train, but seriously would anything similar to that actually have worked in-game across the games campaign length? It's highly doubtful. It seems that after the initial reveal and subsequent promotional taglines consisting of paraphrases around the 'everything is connected' moniker, peoples' minds ran amok thinking every single aspect of the game-world would be hand-crafted and intricate to the point where something like hacking a set of traffic lights would have it's own on-screen circuitboard, or mini-game involving the navigation of Matrix-style lines of code - rather than the instant-mastery of your surroundings exhibited by Aiden's one-button-hacks-all phone.
