Watch Dogs 2: 8 Past Mistakes It Must Fix

6. That Awkward Moment When You Neutralise A Vehicle

It's all happening. After your latest daring escapade, the villainous folk you're chasing will summon some cronies - or the police - to chase after you and repeatedly slam into you in an attempt to drive you off the road. Thus begins an epic, citywide chase where you employ your hacking skills to get rid of your aggressors and - hopefully - manage to also neutralise the person you're chasing. The only problem with this section is, almost every time you manage to neutralise a person by blowing their car to smitheerens with an underground exploding steam pipe or send them smashing headfirst into blockers, they'll nearly always get out of their car alive, leading to an extremely awkward moment where you realise you can't shoot from a car and have no other option than to get out of your vehicle (because, naturally, you've overshot the car crash scene and can't be bothered to turn around) and engage directly in combat. This almost always inevitably results in the rest of the villain's cronies coming at you simultaneously from every side and gunning you down, while the dude who has just survived a ridiculous car crash runs off like Usain Bolt into the distance. Not fun, and perhaps one of the stupidest decisions in the game. For the sequel, we'd much rather have the option to use a combination of hacking and gunplay when in vehicles, or perhaps have better ways to kill those we're chasing for good without all of this palaver.
