Ok THIS is where Demon's Souls really shows it's true colours. It was like:

*Knight slams down* - EYES WIDEN

*Pudgy and hilarious looking Bozo the clown appears* - STUPID GRIN ON MY FACE

*Hundreds of archers appear* - BLOOD IS SET TO FIZZY

All of the tenants of Fromsoft gameplay experience distilled into a single cutscene. Squash me under them heels metal papa as I'm ready for some pain.
