What Every Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice Fan Thinks Of Every Sekiro Boss
5. Isshin, The Sword Saint
So here we are, the final boss of the game for most playthroughs and boy is it a doozy.
I absolutely love how when Genichiro steps up to the plate, he seems so insignificant compared to our first encounter. Back then, his attacks seemed lightning quick and his repertoire of moves seemed to counter everything we had to offer, but now? After all we've seen? Well, the only shocking thing here is how quickly he goes down!
Thankfully for him old Grandaddy dearest pops out of his spine and shows you how to have a real boss battle, and trust me this is both a battle for the ages and one that can be cheesed the hell out of. If you go toe to toe with the greatest swordsman who ever lived reborn in a new body, then you can have the fight of your life, which will offer up a symphony of sword clangs and enough sweat to drown someone in.
However inversely you can also just NEVER STOP RUNNING and force the boss to use the one or two attacks it has that leave it wide open for some cheese based chopping. Either way it takes ages and is still supremely satisfying to finally take him down.
