Vehicular destruction is so hot right now.

Calling all fans of Demolition Derby and Twisted Metal: after years of wilderness wandering without a proper old-fashioned violent driving game, and grasping on to the slim motor vehicle carnage offered by Burn-Out and its ilk, the tide is turning. With Twisted Metal hitting the market this week, and DiRT Showdown showing some real adenaline-fuelled promise, times are about to be good again for one of the most fun forgotten gaming sub-genres, and Gelid Games are getting in on the action with the release of Wheels of Destruction: World Tour, which is coming soon to SEN. The game, which is an arcade-style, class-based, car combat shooter set in a post-apocalyptic Earth. It places players behind the wheel of five different vehicles in five of the most dangerous €“ yet vivid €“ regions of Europe.
