6. LFR-Bashing
Please... dont become that guy in LFR. One heal out of place, improper coordination, an innocent agro and that guy will pounce on the slightest innocent, insignificant mistake and pour his textual diarrhoea all over chat. "Ughhhhhh, DPS is so idiot in LFR. I think Ill call everyone useless at WoW without checking where I am in the damage meters... Oh, Im second last? Right in between the healers and that warlock who keeps dancing in the corner? No matter, everyone will love my opinion.""... LFR-tards." LFR was opened to an array of borderline tragic-hilarity during the Dragon Soul-era, and generated so much nerd-rage that GlaxoSmithKline actually attributed the 2011-12 spike in demand for inhalers to the introduction of the Dragon Soul raid. The increasingly complicated mechanics of raiding collided with a player-base unprepared for the corresponding time and effort required, creating an unfriendly and toxic environment. Although the current system is still imperfect - arguably too easy, requiring little effort and disincentives high-end progression - WoW has implemented positive developments to cull the LFR-hate. The various tiers of raiding (normal, heroic and mythic) are designed for those of a higher and more ambitious skill; whilst gear has been segregated, with superior aesthetic and statistical benefits coming from the difficult content.
