WWE 13: 10 Attitude Era Storylines That Must be Included

4. Undertaker vs. Mankind

As previously discussed, Mankind wasn€™t always that loveable oaf that shot him to superstardom. In the beginning he was cast as a tortured lunatic who lived in boiler rooms and enjoyed abusing himself. Fitting then that he entered into an extremely hardcore, notoriously brutal rivalry with The Undertaker that culminated in one of the most violent matches in the history of the WWE; the Hell in a Cell at the 1998 King of the Ring. This would be a great closing match for the storyline, but we'd also have to play through the highlights of this bizarre, unorthodox rivalry; the backstage fights, boiler room brawls, buried alive matches, the blood, sweat and broken teeth. Let€™s be honest with ourselves right now, we€™ve all recreated the iconic Hell in a Cell match-up between Mankind and €˜Taker in previous versions of the game. Hell, doing so is one of my earliest memories of playing the franchise. And in WWE 13 we may just get the chance to recreate it through the story, hopefully complete with J.R (who we know is included in Attitude era commentary) screaming €œGOOD GOD ALMIGHTY! THEY'VE KILLED HIM!€
