8. Kane & X Pac
Characters from Scenario In Game (Kane, X-Pac, Road Dogg, Rikishi, APA, Big Show, Undertaker) The team of The Big Red Machine and X-Pac and their given story was truly a staple of the Attitude era. A love triangle, betrayal and a flamethrower, what else do you want from the golden years of WWE. Much like many on this list the partnership didnt last long before it imploded. The two partnered shortly after Kane was evicted from The Corporation. This teaming would evolve Kane from a mute monster to the walking talking three dimensional character he is today. He also found love for the first time in the unlikely form of Tori. They captured tag gold on two occasions, firstly from Own Hart and Jeff Jarrett (but lets say that they start the scenario with the gold), and then losing them to the APA. They subsequently beat the Acolytes for the straps before losing them again, this time to Big Show and Undertaker. The true drama of this team would come on their inevitable downfall. A downfall which would make a great scenario for WWE 13. X-Pac would turn on Kane and re-join, exclusively, with DX causing the two to feud for a couple of months. The feud became more personal after Tori left Kane for X-Pac in true wrestling style. The most famous scene from this feud being the time X-Pac, using a flamethrower on Kane, burnt his face on the Smackdown ramp. They would eventually settle their feud at Wrestlemania 2000 with Kane teaming with Rikishi to beat X-Pac and fellow DX member Road Dogg. There were plenty of great angles and betrayals that could play out beautifully in game, involving many a superstar already included in the game. Also, this being a true evolution of a staple character of the attitude era, it almost begs to be told once again.
