10. Kane Debuts
Bad Blood 1997 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OtvT_br-W6k Shawn Michaels had cost The Undertaker the WWF Championship by accident at Summerslam. HBK was officiating the match between the Demon of Death Valley and Bret Hart and when Hart spat at Michaels the soon-to-be-DX-member swung a chair, missing the challenger, but hitting the champ. Michaels was the Undertakers target and it was eventually decided that the two would fight in the first-ever Hell in a Cell match. The duo put on an absolute classic, a match to rival any of their WrestleMania battles and it appeared that Taker was heading towards victory. The former-champion signalled for a Tombstone when the lights went out. The infamous music hit and Paul Bearer walked out, followed by the 7-foot Kane. The monster ripped the door off the cell and climbed into the ring. The masked newcomer stood in the ring as the flames rose from each corner, before he hit Undertaker with the Tombstone. Kane had made his intentions very clear. Michaels pinned for the win and was carried out by his DX colleagues. Arguably it was the greatest debut in WWE history and the most successful. Kane immediately looked like the monster he was meant to be and he looked dominant.
