Additional Universe Enhancements

Addition 1: Bring back the WWE Draft. I don't have any statistics on this, but I'm sure that a good amount of people that play sports games like to draft their own teams in Franchise Modes. The most current game has WWE Draft matches like they used to do recently on TV, but completing a draft where the picks are "snaked" (aka back and forth) is just so much fun. Addition 2: Give Universe Mode an online variation Just like Online Franchise or Online Association, WWE games should have their version of "franchise" be online as well. Users could either pick one superstar and run through Universe with that person, or take control of a brand and cooperatively run through Universe, scheduling matches (or just supervising feuds like adding interference, deciding when the title should be put on the line, etc. since Universe books matches on it's own sometimes) with their own brands. I would love to be able to book matches with a friend controlling our own brands and having our self-made feuds culminate at a PPV. Addition 3: Make hometown's matter This is simple, just give a momentum boost to a superstar if that person is put in a match when the show is in their hometown. Of course the developers would have to add a schedule (probably randomized) that each show works on, but that shouldn't be too difficult. The crowd could also get more into it for their hometown-hero, using audio and visual cues that the superstar is in their hometown (more signs for that wrestler, bigger pop when they come out, etc.) Addition 4: Add video promo's before big PPV matches I'm not sure if this would have to wait until the new systems come out because of storage issues, but this would add to much to Universe mode. However now that I think about it again, all the big sports games allow us to save replays, so I'm not so sure this would have to wait. NBA 2K13 does this before almost every game you play. Step 1 is having the game save the video highlights that play at the end of the match. Step 2 is where the developer team (along with the help of the WWE video team) creates video packages that are tied to feuds in Universe Mode. There would be slots where those in-game replays would go that make sense in the video. So basically, we would have a bunch of pre-made videos for the different story lines that trigger in Universe Mode, with some of our own highlights to go with them to make the videos feel personal and real.
