WWE 2K15: 11 Things We Know And Are Excited About

4. Yuke's Involvement

Yuke's is the long tenured developer of WWE games, stretching all the way back to the early Smackdown games. When 2K acquired the WWE license last year from THQ, they ensured to retain the services of Yuke's as a way to producing the most top standard WWE game possible. This helped ease the load on 2K's Visual Dynamics developers, giving them the partnership of Yuke's experience to make 2K14 the best game it could be. The partnership endures on WWE 2K15, although Yuke's are noted to have taken a bit more of a back seat. 2K15's Mark Little said the following on the relationship "In a lot of areas in the game, yes, we're the one fronting that up. But it's still very much a partnership.

"Yuke's has a very long history of making this game, and some people would tell you it's good and bad, but they have a lot of expertise and knowledge about making WWE wrestling games [...] My job is to find a way to pull the best out of both groups."

This can only be a good thing for us the consumers. On the one hand we have the fresh thinking of the new developer, on the other hand we have the experience and know how of the old makers. This should gel perfectly to make a superb new wrestling game for later this year.
