Instead the player would relive the real life drama of the WWE which fascinates fans so much. These days it is what's going on behind the scenes which enthrals fans as much as what happens on screen. The internet wrestling fan community laps this sort of backstage reality up, so a game living through moments such as Ultimate Warrior's Summerslam 1991 match would definitely grab their attention. The way I see it, in 2K15 you would play through matches such as Shawn Michaels vs Bret Hart at Survivor Series 1997 with the objective of 'Screw Bret.' This would then unlock a video in which WWE talking heads discuss the incident. It would make for a compelling game for wrestling fans with the gaming audience also enjoying the objective based aspect. Getting Bret into a sharpshooter so that Earl Hebner can ring the bell sounds like a lot of fun to me! Other dramas that could be covered include the Madison Square Garden cage match which led to the kliq breaking kayfabe and Lesnar vs Goldberg at Wrestlemania 20 when Brock was leaving the WWE high and dry.
