6. WarGames
With two decades of wrestling games released on major consoles, it goes without saying that it becomes harder and harder with each passing year for the game-makers to come up with exciting new match-types that haven't been done before. Hell in a Cell, Elimination Chamber, TLC ladder matches, First Blood matches, Iron Man matches, Cage matches, etc have all been done to death now. It's hard for the producers to find a new way of making these match types fresh and with no new match-types being created with WWE's current creative staff, looking to add a Wargames mode to WWE 2K15 seems a must. The WarGames structure, which is synonymous with WCW, was basically two rings side-by-side with a big cage surrounding them and if utilised would be a big selling point for the new game. Recently, WWE have released a two-disc DVD set of the best of WarGames from WCW, which was a huge seller and typing "WCW Wargames" into Google brings up the predictive search result of WWE Network, which seemingly confirms that fans are searching for how they can catch up on this infamous match type. Indeed, now is the perfect time to introduce the WarGames mode because of the Network... WWE should be doing everything in their power to push their service. The fantasy elements of using the WarGames mode to create your own dream contests such as nWo vs D-Generation X or using the match-type in the modern era with The Shield vs The Wyatts would be a mouth-watering prospect. Lately the buzz around WWE perhaps considering using a Wargames structure for the pay-off to The Shield vs Evolution feud should tell 2K Games that the mode is a must-have for the new title. And a WWF vs WCW mode would organically see it added.
