As ridiculous as it sounds, two-time Divas Champion Paige was left out of WWE 2K15 on its initial release. The Englishwoman is arguably the company's leading female wrestler so to leave her out points to one reason and one reason only: WWE and 2K Sports wants more of your money. The Showcase Season Pass claims to bring more action and excitement from the game's showcase mode, which includes rivalries such as Shawn Michaels v Triple H from 2002 and 2011's John Cena v CM Punk feud. They do this by giving you three more 2K Showcase add on packs and Paige as an 'exclusive' character, all for the 'poultry' fee of $24.99! The 'accelerator' allows you to utilise all of the unlockable features while the additional packs give you three more feuds to play through, they're entitled: One More Match, Hall of Pain and Path of the Warrior. Here we have another liberty taken by WWE and 2K. If the game included all of these features to begin with, the blow of removing a lot of the game's key facets would have been softened substantially. However, the fact they charge you more, on top of the bare game's hefty price tag, is ridiculous.
