WWE 2K15 Roster: 12 Superstars Who Could Make Their Franchise Debut

10. Lanny Poffo

wwewweWWE included so many legends of yesteryear on 2K14, who could they possibly add this time around? One contender to make his video game debut is 'Leaping' Lanny Poffo. He worked for the WWF from 1985 to 1992 and again in 1994, with his greater fame coming when booked as 'The Genius' from 1989 onward. Let's be honest though, this was a lower card talent at best. So why would WWE include him? Part of the reason could be to do with the fact that Lanny is the younger brother of Randy Savage. He'd always been hostile about the WWE, stating that his older brother only ever wanted to be inducted into the WWE Hall Of Fame as part of the Poffo family. It's partly the reason why Macho Man is thus far not in WWE's Hall of Fame. All of a sudden though, relations between WWE and Poffo have changed. He is now saying that he would be all for Savage being inducted, additionally he is currently working with WWE on a current Macho Man DVD project. By the sounds of that, WWE and Lanny have come to some sort of working relationship. That alone makes it possible WWE would use Poffo in the new video game, a sort of symbolic gesture to get 'the genius' on board with a 2015 Macho Man HOF induction.
