Or could it? Rumours of Goldberg being included WWE 2K16 intensified after twitter rumour supposedly showing an image of Goldbergs head being scanned for the new game made the rounds a few weeks ago. This wouldn't be included for the Brock Lesnar vs. Bill Goldberg match alone of course, as it is one of the worst and most anticlimactic matches in Mania history. But having the pair's rivalry taken forward and working more Stone Cold into it would be an idea that would be sure to prick the ears of WWE fans the world over. Brock and Bill soon left WWE after their 2004 calamity while Austin of course retired following his defeat to The Rock a year previously so wouldn't have been able to take part even if they stayed. It goes without saying that playing as Austin in the game won't affect his health so being afforded the opportunity to play matches pitting the Texas Rattlesnake against both big men is simply mouthwatering. Then again, there is yet to be any confirmation of Goldberg in the new game, even though he did find himself a DLC spot in 2K14. Suppose we'll all have to watch this space.
