WWE 2K16: 10 Strongest Wrestlers

9. Kevin Owens (91)

Admittedly, it's somewhat surprising that Kevin Owens rates higher than the likes of Dean Ambrose and Roman Reigns in the game. Specifically, it would have been logical to rank Reigns higher than Owens, due to the perception of him being a bigger star on television. Owens is even higher than the likes of Sheamus, who pulls in a 90 rating, and he's a good character to select. The Pop-Up Powerbomb finishing move looks great, and Owens is also great to use primarily as a striker. His punches feel quick, which diminishes the chance that they will be interrupted by counter strikes from opponents. There's a thrill when playing as Kevin Owens, because he's somewhat of a risk at times. The temptation is to continue using his punches, because they feel weighty. This leaves the character open to counters, which isn't an isolated case. Many others in the game suffer the same fate, but they usually rank in the low-to-mid-80's in terms of ratings. KO's high ranking means he recovers better than those wrestlers if he does get caught. It does seem that Owens is a little inflated in WWE 2K16, but there will be few fans complaining about that.
