WWE 2K16: 10 Things That Need To Be Kept From 2K15

9. Match Structuring

Another aspect that was brand new in WWE 2K15 was how a bog standard match was structured. Instead of allowing you to come out all guns blazing from the first bell, the game almost forced you into a collar and elbow tie up, another thing that is seen all too regularly in the product on television. The Reality Era strikes again. Of course, this didn't happen all the time. If you ran at your opponent with the intention of striking a Brogue Kick for example, that's what would happen. But then later on, but still early enough in the match for it to make sense, you'd be hooking up and trying to gain the upper hand using the innovative system which incorporates all four buttons on the right hand side of your pad. This is all down to a matter of taste. Some will prefer the old SmackDown gameplay while others will prefer this. Kudos to 2K Sports for going out of their comfort zone and providing us with something new and completely different to anything we've felt before.
