WWE 2K16 will be the first WWE 2K game not to feature CM Punk. That's a shame, but what they could do, is still feature some references to him. Maybe it could be a line on commentary, or a symbol on a fan sign in the crowd. They could even animate a member of the crowd to look like the former WWE star. It would be the sort of easter egg that fans appreciate, as Punk remains one of the most popular / talked about personalities in recent times. It would also create some buzz for the game, as anything Punk related in 2K16 is certain to cause a wave of online chatter. Fans will at least expect his moveset and tattoos to be available in the create-a-wrestler mode.
