1. What To Expect From The Featured Stone Cold Steve Austin Mode

Again, arguably the most anticipated feature from the new game. We know that the mode ends at WrestleMania XIX in Austin's retirement match against The Rock, but we haven't had anything else confirmed as of yet. However, that has now changed with this footage of the opening segment of the mode has been released. In a rather shocking turn of events - and in the face of the likes of Mikey Whipwreck and Brian Pillman already being confirmed in the game - it seems that the mode kicks of with Austin's 1996 King of the Ring win. This presumably means that once you've won the crown, and the age of 3:16 was born, you backtrack and participate in WCW and ECW before being launched back into the Texas Rattlesnake's main event, Attitude Era run. That's ever so slightly confusing... Surely this would have been better off running in chronological order? Nevertheless, the video package that kicks off the mode is stunning (no pun intended) while the likeness between Austin and his render in the game is second to none.
