WWE 2K16: 13 Key Changes You Need To Know About

Every one of them welcomed with open arms!

The closer we get to WWE 2K16's release date, the better the game sounds. While WWE 2K14 was an unadulterated success story on so many levels, last year's instalment in the WWE/2K franchise was a huge let down. Certain features were inexplicably left out while the whole look and feel of the game looked a little... rushed. Let's not be too harsh on the current game's developers however, as they only realistically had less than a year to build the current gen versions of the game from scratch! This year, there appears to have been a conscious effort to see the return of those features that didn't make the cut. We've basically heard all we need to hear about the new title, all WWE and 2K need to do at this point is release the full list of matches we can play in exhibition mode and the like. But how has the game changed from one year to the next? What key changes have been made to WWE 2K15 to make it better and worthy of being the next instalment in the franchise? So with the game's release date almost upon us, let's explore those changes...

13. The Little Things

WWE and 2K are making WWE 2K16 the most pleasant experience it could possibly be. For example, the loading screens like the one above are set to disappear. So you've chosen the matchup you want and both men are in the ring; in quite literally every single game since the dawn of time a loading screen would appear with a small WWE logo with some sort of spinning thing going round it before the match began. That isn't going to happen in the new game as shots of the crowd will be shown while the commentary team of Michael Cole, Jerry Lawler and JBL talk. This will undoubtedly make the game feel more like the product we see on our television screens and take away some of the frustrations we have to deal with every year.
