7. Changes To Universe Mode
The game mode that allows you to step into Vince McMahon's shoes as booker of WWE. The limitations to this mode were pretty simple in last year's game. The automatic booking system somehow booked the same Superstar in a number of matches in the same show which became pretty annoying after a while. You always had to have the set number of matches in a show which became pretty boring, you couldn't have less matches and more in between segments, for example. And arguably the biggest problem with the entire section was navigation. The home screen was hard to work your way around while certain features were tucked away in nooks and crannies that were a little hard to spot. Thankfully, all of the above seems to have been sorted out as "improvements to stories, rivals and match card selections" have been made. On top of that, Superstars can be assigned to multiple shows for the first time to represent to real life product and give gamers "a broader experience." Let's just hope any automatic booking system doesn't book the same Superstar in multiple matches on the same card on multiple shows.
