9. A Royal Triple Threat
WWE World Heavyweight Title: Lesnar (c) vs. Cena vs. Rollins - Royal Rumble 2015 The first world championship defense of 2015 took place on a night where, for the second straight year, the majority of fans left feeling disappointed at who won the 30-man showcase main event. Despite that fact, one of the year's single greatest matches took place moments prior, and it was an extremely entertaining match-up from start to finish. John Cena was still reeling from the brutal beating suffered at the hands of Brock Lesnar at the previous year's SummerSlam, but was determined to overcome his adversary and walk away with the title. A surprise addition to the match, Mr. Money in the Bank, Seth Rollins had other plans, and for the first time this year, stole the show and became the MVP that night, despite coming up short in his efforts to capture the championship. With back-and-forth triple threat gameplay in WWE 2k16, not to mention the accuracy of each Superstar's move-set (including Seth's Phoenix Splash, which he debuted in this bout), this should be on everyone's playlist for the latest iteration of the series.
